We came across this awesome peacock while traveling home from Slovakia. You need to double-click on these pictures so you can see the magnificence of this bird. Here's what happened: He saw me take a picture of him; and as if on cue, he fanned his tail out and did a perfect 360 in front of me. It was as if he were a trained model, posing for the camera. Of course, I kept taking pictures.
This was taken while he was turning. I couldn't believe he was turning in a very slow circle for me. He must be very proud of his tail feathers. Pretty Majestic, Mr. Peacock.

Hello President and Sister Slovacek!
My name is Brittany Erskine and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I am also a student at West Virginia University currently studying the transitional economies of post-Soviet Europe and will be in Prague, Czech Republic from 21 March - 31 March. I did some google-ing, and some research on the Church website, and was lucky enough to find the address of the Church in Prague and your blog! I am going to try very hard (and I want to very much!) to attend church for the two Sundays that I am in Prague (I don’t know too many details of our itinerary as of right now, however, I will once I am in Prague). I will be staying at the Hotel Prokopka, on Prokopova 9, 130 00 Praha 3 (I cut and pasted that from their website, so I hope that’s correct, the address style used in Czech Republic is taking a bit of adjustment on my part) and I was hoping that you would be able to share with me the meeting time and directions to the church building.
Also, any advice or stories about Prague that you could share would be incredibly welcome!!
I apologize for this very unorthodox method of contacting you (my computer would not allow me to even attempt to e-mail you) and I hope that you are able to see this comment before next Sunday!
Best wishes and I look forward to meeting you both and the other members in Prague soon!
Appreciatively and respectfully,
Brittany Erskine
