A couple of weeks ago, we said good-bye to some of the best missionaries the world has ever seen. This picture was taken the night before they went home. They spent the night in the mission home. I fed them dinner and afterwards, we had probably one of the most spiritual testimony meetings I have ever attended. They are truly AMAZING people. We were sad to see them go.

In May of 2006, Elder Uchtdorf dedicated the country of Slovakia for receiving the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was here in this grove of trees on a hill in Trencin that the dedication took place. Marv and I hiked to this spot and took this picture as the sun was rising through the trees. It is a beautiful, peaceful place. It reminded me of the sacred grove in New York.

We recently returned from another mission tour. This time, we took a P-day, and explored some great castles in Slovakia--Bohunice and Trencin. These castles are massive! The night shot was taken from our hotel room--what a great view we had!
